Programmatic Salesforce skills may also be applied to support advanced analysis and troubleshooting. The role also analyzes system behavior and resolves configuration issues, integration failures, and data synchronization problems. Additional duties involve supporting API-based integrations with upstream and downstream systems during integration troubleshooting.

This position provides Tier 2 user support by diagnosing permission problems, profile and role inconsistencies, sharing rule conflicts, UI navigation issues, data mismatches, record discrepancies, and reporting needs. Staff in this role assist users with creating or modifying reports, dashboards, list views, and other data tools. Work also includes documenting issues that require escalation and preparing user guides, troubleshooting materials, and knowledge-base content to improve system operations and user proficiency.

The position works closely with analysts, developers, accessibility teams, program staff, and cross-bureau partners to refine system requirements and enhance the FMS Salesforce platform. Responsibilities also include participation in accessibility testing, providing demonstrations, and delivering coaching on new and updated functionality.

The role requires independent work and regular reporting of project progress. Daily interaction with CDSS technical staff and management, as well as frequent engagement with system customers and contracted consultants, is expected. A background investigation and fingerprint clearance are required prior to appointment.
